Cashew Chickpea or Cashew Chicken

I do a lot of cooking classes and I recently did a few Keto workshops and the reason I

did them was because I wanted people to do it the “right” or most healthy way if

they were going to follow this trend. One of the dishes we created is my Cashew

chicken and it was such a huge hit with everyone. It also happens to be one of my

faves so of course I had to share it with all of you.

I know I initially I started my company as a plant-based meal prep company but we

have grown and evolved over time. With our training goals we found that adding in

a few meat meals each week really worked for us. My big message with nutrition is

you do what works best for you. Only you know your body, what makes it feel good

and what doesn’t. That’s why I gave two options for this week’s

Apple & Almond Crunch Salad

As most of you know I am working on a detox program so I have been creating so many new recipes to include for this real food reset. I have worked hard to use ingredients that are fresh, and support the bodies natural detoxification process.

Almonds, apples, cruciferous veggies, lemon and ginger are all super food when it comes to detoxing the body from the inside out. That is how this salad was created. We tend to be creatures of habit and end up eating the same ol’ boring salad or bowl each week. My goal is to keep switching things up so you have SO many options of fresh spring and summer salads.

Chicken Detox Stew

Spring is in the air and that vibe always brings about a good Spring cleaning in our home. Along with cleaning out the house I do love a good real food reset to help facilitate a detox within our bodies.

People often think a detox means picking up a detox pill package or a special tea. A healthy detox is all about resetting, resting and nourishing the body from the inside out. At the same time eliminating any toxins or foods that can hinder the body’s natural detoxification process.

It’s about adding in foods that nourish our body and our cells. In this recipe, broccoli works to help detoxify the body it has a high amount of fiber, which allows you to feel full and it also works to keep your blood sugar low and balance between meals. This super veg also contains antioxidants and phytonutrients, which improves the detox process in your body and helps to eliminate other toxins.

I am working on putting together a 7-21 day real food reset detox program that will be coming out at the end of the month so if you feel like you could use a reset keep an eye out for it.

This is one of the recipes that will be in the program, it’s quick and easy to make and feels like comfort food warming you from the inside out. A perfect dish to add into your Sunday meal prep, we like to individually portion in containers for a delish grab and go lunch.
